Badha Konasana also known as the butterfly pose, is a yoga asana in which you center yourself by keeping a pair of legs together and then gently flapping them like the wings of a butterfly.

How to do Butterfly Pose:

1.) Initially, sit on the mat and keep your back straight.  Extend your legs in front and keep the knees straight on the ground.

2.) Now keep the pair of your feet together and slowly move the legs outwards so that they open in the middle direction.

3.) Now join your hands on the left side to hold the soles of the feet.  The hands should move under the legs.

4.) Slowly flap your thighs, like flapping the wings of a butterfly.  You should breathe easy here.

5.) Slowly bring the legs to the normal position and release the asana.  Repeat this comfortably.
